Finances Made Easy
Giving you time to focus on what matters
Make it stand out.
It wasn’t until I started my own business, that I discovered how time-consuming it was to ensure that the business’s finances were up-to-date and accurate. This is a reality that many entrepreneurs and small-business owners face on a day-to-day.
As a corporate accountant with over 4 years of experience in managing the books of a multi-national corporation, I want to apply what I know to help those who need it the most.
About Me
Hi, my name is Eric.
Coming from a family of accountants, it was only natural for me to pursue a career in accounting. Working as a corporate accountant for Westport Fuel Systems shortly after graduating from post-secondary, I have gained various valuable experiences in operational accounting, financial statement preparation, and financial statement analysis.
My philosophy when it comes to work is that I want to contribute to a beneficial cause. For me, this meant working for a company specializing in alternative and renewable-energy combustion engines.
However, working as a corporate accountant was not without its downsides. The most notable thing is the lack of diversity in experience. As someone who wants to go off on their own in the future and open their practice, I lacked experience in common areas such as taxation. To overcome this, I founded my own detailing business in late 2023 to get more hands-on experience with managing small business books and taxes. Through this, I was able to learn about the various tax regulations in place and improve on what has always been a hobby of mine.
After several networking events, and getting the chance to speak with other entrepreneurs, I realized that managing finances was a critical component that not many put emphasis on. This made sense, as generating more sales and scaling the business was a higher priority than making sure receipts were all documented.

“It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”
